330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber to brown colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of red berries and cherry, hints of prune, piney hoppy overtones. From the bottle. Dirty red with a frothy to creamy crown that lingers. Aroma of red currant, apple. A hint of caramel. Taste is straightforward bitter, a bit dusty but mellowed by subtle bittersweet undertones. Finishes dry, bitter and fruity. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. The beer has a well-rounded, refreshing feel. Good.

Bottled 500ml. -from Die Bierothek Bamberg. Unclear orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, yeasty and mild citrusy nose. Moderate malty, yeasty, light wheaty, notes of citrus and banana with mild sweetish spicy finish. Bit messy but drinkable.
