Crowler from the brewery, 9/15/20. Clear, pale gold color, with a fizzy white head dissipates quickly to nothing. Dough, grass, and citrus. Drinks clean, and crisp. Lively carbonation. Fairly crisp. Pretty good, not quite there. To me, this is much more of a Dad Beer than the beer they call Dad Beer...

Crowler from the brewery, via delivery, 9/15/20. Pours orange with a small head and no lace. The aroma is full on tangerine / orange juice. The taste is actually quite well balanced, sweet and tart from the tangerine flavors, some nice funky notes, lemon zest, and a little salinity. Works really well overall. Sometimes these smoothie sours are both tasty and difficult to get through (especially in crowler quantity), but that is not the case here.

Crowler from the brewery, via delivery, 9/14/20. Fully hazed yellowish color, white head, stronger lace. Melon, pineapple, peach, and mango. Sweet up front, dry, resiny close. A tough thinner than I expected. Smooth feel with one of those closes that leaves your mouth a little cottony. Pretty good.

Crowler from Heavy Reel delivery, 9/14/20. Been wanting to try these guys' beer for a couple of years, but now they are delivering to my county once every few weeks I finally got a chance to without making the trip to Seaside Heights! Thanks for the delivery! As for the beer, I guess from something called Dad Beer I expect it to be much more clear, but this is very unfiltered looking, and more of a full yellow than a pale blonde beer. White head leaves some streaky lace on the glass. The aroma and flavor are full of bright pineapple and honeydew melon. Some zesty lemon, and a little grass on the later part of the palate. Not at all what I was expecting. Honestly wondering if this is even the right beer in this crowler, but what is in here is pretty delicious. On one hand, it's not at all what I would consider a Dad Beer; on the other hand, this Dad found it plenty enjoyable.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy pale gold color. Small bubbly white head disapates quickly. Fragrant citrus fruit nose hints at lime, peach and passionfruit. Light, zesty biscuit malt flavor. Notes of citrus, grass and pine. Pleasant dry finish.
