Tap at the brewery - marketed as "Goldspot Hefeweizen," 4.5%, 24 ibu - light copper with a touch of haze - would not guess a hefe by looking at it - zero head - nose is sweet, and heavy and the banana and clove, with a touch of honey character - tastes better than it looks - frothy mouthfeel - a little on the sweet side, but it has some pepper phenols and some clove - banana esters are present, but not as.potent as in the nose - finish is kind of watery, a touch acidic - needs some work, but has potential.

Tap at the brewery - turbid gold - very hoppy, medium.sweet - tropical flavors of pineapple and citrus, plus some pear - herbal and grassy bitterness - a bit of husky maltiness makes the malt profile a little harsh on the tail end - some wheat and cereal grains - finish is dry and.moderately bitter - a little flinty - some good stuff, but also a little rough.

7.1/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 6.5
Tap at the brewery - the addition of honey makes this.taste more like a blonde ale - anyway, despite the honey, this presents as fairly dry and crisp, with a mild.bitterness and mineral character - frothy mouthfeel - floral.character, earthy wheat tones - finish has some crackery maltiness and lingering wildflower.honey, but again, it presents fairly dry - very clean and fairly tasty.
