A new beer at a new brewery. On a visit last week to H-Town to see the prodigal son, we ventured to Elder Son Brewing Co and tasted a few. #203 arrived with a milkshake yellow color for itself along with a creamy top of solidly white foam. The drink was decent, even good in a style I am not enthused about. Pineapple significantly, a bit of hoppiness, juice and malt. Rather dense, a sensation I do appreciate. A beer I would drink again.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is pine and roast. Slick body, pine, grass, roast, bitter finish, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and roast. Slick body, cocoa, roast, cracker, sweet, very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is floral and citrus. Slick body, citrus, wheat, yeast, light finish, crushable, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is dank, floral, citrus. Slick body, grapefruit, pine, nice bitterness, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, roast, cracker. Slick body, roasted malt, cocoa, light dry finish, good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Slick body, grass, citrus, light bitterness, good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong spice, cinnamon, dark fruit. Slick body, cinnamon, toasted malt, raisin, very sweet, good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, roast. Slick body, cocoa, cracker, dry finish, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is dank and citrus. Slick body, citrus, melon, pine, light bitterness, juicy, very good.
