330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, oct 16, brought by me, from trade with Omhper. Many thanks! Pours hazy dark brown, thin tan head. Aroma is soft and chocolatey. Taste is smooth with nice chocolate, light caramel, earthy malts with softly rich, balanced character. Very good.

thnx to Hackobock ! Pours dark, chocolaty brown. Small , bit brown head. Smell is intense, wood, bit bourbon like ( perhaps old forester is a brand of bourbon ??? ) , some chocolate, bit bitter. Taste is full, rather sweet ( bourbon-like) , very much wood, rich chocolate aspect (very pure chocolate) not as bitter as expected. Very low carbo, good MF.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with a foamy head. Lavender, raisins and caramel in the aroma. Malty and moderately sweet taste with berries, lavender, raisins and caramel standing out.

Flaska från SB. 1 år gammal. Smak och doft av choklad, ekträ, bourbon med toner av kaffe och russin. Fina lena aromer i smaklig balans. Rund och len, lagom sötma, något tunn kropp. Fin syrlighet från fatlagringen. Mycket gott!

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. Hazy amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of big herbs rosemary, thyme, black tea, cloves and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [19-08-2016]

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in September 2016. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, grass and light citrus. Similar taste, also hints of butter. The body was around medium as was the bitterness. Easy to drink.

Bottled, from Folkölsbutiken, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, rich firm head. Floral nose with some bread and hay. Mid dry with light body and rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Bread and elderflowers. Resiny bitter finish. Refreshing and with the usual rich, somewhat rustic character that makes Qvänum one of the most interesting brewers in Sweden.

Flaska från SB. Grumlig smutsig bärnstensfärg med skum som frasar och snabbt försvinner. Doft av rågbröd, jäst, banan, fenoler och hö. Smaken har lite pepprig råg lite banan, bröd, hö, jäst. Lite alkohol slår igenom en lite pepprig eftersmak med viss beska. Jag gillar delar av det här men helheten funkar ändå inte riktigt. Hade behövt vara lite rundare och mjukare för att balansera pepprigheten och kanske någon procent svagare. Ändå okej.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ pre. Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, TNO(U)DRBSG16 @ fonefan & Brugmasia House. [ As Qvänum / Närke Pors o Tvärs ].Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, bread, caramel, porse - bog myrtle, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, porse - bog myrtle, herbs, sweet malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Nice balance and easy to drink. [20160819]

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in July 2016. Brownish with a light tan head. Aroma of myrtle, herbs, light mint and some hints of malt. Similar taste. Rather soft and with a light bitter finish. A decent one.
