Bottled (Thanks omhper!). Deep amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is apple, sweet malts, some mild maizelike notes as well. Flavour is toffee, some sweet apples, yeast and mild alcohol to give it a kick as well. Rather wellmade apple beer for once, which has the apple there, but also manages to be tasty.

50cl swing top I got via Secret Santa a few sessions back. Pours a watery dark brown with some cloudy, beige head. Nose has a ton of mushroom, malt, dirt, rotting tree bark, some soy. Flavor has more sweetness, malt, molasses, yeast, the mushroom is still there though, dirt, soy. Creamy finish. Odd.

Bottled, thanks rlgk! Murky amber/brown, no head. Apple brandy, phenols and marzipan up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Vinous with peppery heat and low carbonation, honey and cider lures behind. Warming finish. Unusual (as usual) beer from Qvänum.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home. [ As Qvänum Anders – En Bitter Svensk ].[ Trade by omhper ]. Unclear medium yellow orange color with a large, open and frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, toasted - caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grass - dry grass - dry hops, brett, fruity, flowers, funky notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141111]

Bottle from Systembolaget, bought in 2013. Black with a small tan head. Very nice aroma of bourbon, coffee, chocolate and some vanilla. The mouthfeel was relatively soft. Balanced taste with bourbon, coffee, oak, vanilla and chocolate. Smooth and nicely drinkable. Nice to see a beer like this from Qvänum.
