Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy amber, rich head. Complex saroma with citrus, bread and dough. Mid sweet with mefium body and soft mouthfeel. Mellow but firm bready malt, citrus and canteloupe. Long but mild bitterness in a peppery finish.

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Tasting at Cafe Abseits. Thanks to Ronny. Opaque dark caramel coloured pour with a halo of of white head. Aroma is sharp roast, coffee, apple. Flavour is full, vanilla, wood, oak and caramle, toffee. Palate is full bodied, sticky, sweet.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with roasty touches. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel, with hints of roast, coffee beans, dark chocolate and liquorice. Roasty and sourish aftertaste of coffe ebeans, with subtle sweetish notes. Body tinner than expected but it is okay. Nice.

Bottle, 7.8%. Vinous aroma, creamy with a hint of vanilla. Black colour. Small stable brown head. The flavour is roasted, sweetish with a mild vanilla note. There is a little alcohol bitterness in the finish along with a roasted barley bitterness. Late creamy aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel for the ABV, but it works out all right for me. Not as fat as some other strong porters.
