Flaska från SBs lokala sortiment. Bärnstensfägad med medelhögt skum. Tvålig doft med lätta kryddrag, banankaka, kanel, muskot. Ganska platt och tvålig, tallolja, parfym, banankaka, kryddor. Sött men torr avslutning trots lätt beska. Nja det här var inte riktigt lyckat. För en gångs skull gör Qvänum mig lite besviken.

Bottle, thanks to Colin. It pours darkest brown with a small light tan head. The nose is roasty, earth, toast, light spice, toffee, caramel and coffee grinds. The taste is bitter-sweet, cocoa, dark fruit, coffee grinds, light bitterness, wood and varnish with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and rather drinkable.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in December 2013. Dark amber with a small head, Dry with malt, light spices and fruit. Also some boiled vegetables. A disappointment.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber/red in colour. Cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, dried fruit and malt in the aroma. Fruity, malty and moderately spicy taste with a noticeable sweetness and notes of cinnamon, raisins and fruitcake. A decent festive lager with plenty of character.

Bottle share at kernel thanks to Colin. Aroma is slaty petroleum, choc, veg. Dark caramel coloured pour with a persistent light tan head. Flavour is choc, spicy pepperr veg, light salt. ryish finish. Medium light body and tingley carbonation.

Dark opaque black color, small brown head. Toasty notes, some bourbon-vanilla. Medium to full bodied. Sticky, some coffee, lots of vanilla. Good beer but lacks something from real high points. Perhaps a bit too sweet.
