Sweet, a bit acidic, spicy, hints of sour scent in the back. Dry, spicy, malty, oats taste. Mineral aftertaste. Bottle 2012 edition Ekstedts jul kul 2012 2012-12-15 AR: marzipan - stolen, wee yeasty, ripe undefined fruitiness AP: wee hazy copper, frothy wee beige F: wee yeasty, ripe tropical fruits, fizzy, perhaps hint of chocolate. Bottle 2013 edition from SB cons 2013-12-28 Göteborg AR: ripe mango, yeasty, settled farmhouse, lychee, ripe mandarine when poured AP: wee hazy reddish amber, frothy steady of white head - nice wee lacings F: fizzy, citrus, ripe tropical fruits, farmhouse yeasty, medium + bitternees, grape fruit, spicey - more peppery then the cinnamon they claimed the used. And no chocolated dedected either... 2013: 3,2, new average - keep the old 3,3... (3,3+3,2)/2=

Bügelverschlußflasche (getauscht mit Per!): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, small creamy tanned head, fruity-malty nose, not really hoppy, but traces of infection instead; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly infected toasty-caramelly finish with a hoppy aftertaste. Not bad, but unfortunately infected. The infection covers the hops - announced on the label - almost completely....

Bottled at SMÖF. Lightly hazy dark nut brown, small head. Potent aroma of coffee and molasses. Sweet and full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Relaxed and pleasant with coffee and caramel. Some hay in a warming mid bitter finish.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy pale coppery colour with a huge beige foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, floral mild soapy/parfumeish notes as well as some slight sweet maltyness. Flavour is fruity, floral, quite bitter with some slight sweet maltyness as well. Nice berryish and floral bitterness in the aftertaste.

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours rubyish brown with no head I could see. Smell is sweet, malty and salty with dark bread, soup stock, caramel, fudge, salt water toffee, raisins, prunes, hay, alcohol, and liquorice root. Taste is sweet, bitter and salty with dark bread, soup stock, caramel, pine, resinous wood, prunes, raisins, toffee, liquorice root and alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with caramel, dark bread, toffee, lemon zest, hay, prunes and raisins. Slightly weirdly salty and a bit all over the place but could get great if it gets to rest for a while.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in August 2012. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of fruit, bread, grass and citrus. Easy to drink and an ok beer. The finish was dry.
