(Keg at Black Bird, 20230322) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, dense and lightly brown. Aroma had roasted notes, liquorice, fruitiness, resin and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were resin, fruitiness, liquorice, roasted notes and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, resin, ash and bitterness. A nice and balanced brew blending the hop notes and burnt malts well. The finish was a bit too burnt.
