Keg @ Beefeater. Pours hazy brownish golden with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and slightly herbal with dark bread, caramel, toffee, cereal, hay, moist soil, green herbs and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and herbal. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with bread, caramel, green herbs and citrus peal. Solid, but nothing I’m too excited to revisit. --- Beer merged from original tick of Extra Svensk Bitter on 11 Jul 2016 at 19:14 - Score: 6. Keg at BBB. Kegged today. Pours hazy pale golden with a frothy fluffy white head that slowly dissipates while leaves some thick lacing and trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and floral with whole grain crackers, white bread, freshly milled grains, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, malty and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with fresh malts, floral hops, minerals and lemon peal. Lovely fresh fairly complex bready malt base and very fresh floral hops. Perhaps a bit low in carbonation but that makes it even more quaffable. Love it! --- Beer merged from original tick of Lycke Pilsner on 07 Jun 2016 at 18:47 - Score: 8. Original review text: Kegged today. Lovely fresh complex bready malt base and very fresh floral hops. Low carbonation makes it extremely quaffable. Love it!
