Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015. Orangée trouble, col crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme est légèrement houblonné, fruité. Malt pâle et caramel pour un rétro résineux-grains. Palais malt pâle, houblonné agrumes aux notes de pamplemousse, le tout reste assez épais en bouche avec un résineux prenant rappelant le Centennial.

Black body, with a medium, dense, creamy, dark beige head.
Smooth aroma of coffee, tiramisu, chocolate, spices, grapefruit, some pine.
Tastes of bitter coffee, liquorice, tobacco, a bit ash, dark chocolate, cocoa, subtle hops.
Medium to light, quite oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes bitter-roasty, dry, with coffee, liquorice, a bit ash.
Good, but not much hops left. Needs a rerate when I get a fresh bottle. Still with some smooth malts, while I enjoyed the nose more than the taste, which is missing some more body in my opinion.

bottle at home from trade with Cuso, thanks Imro :) dark brown, almost black color, looks cloudy, small coffee-colored head. smell of coffee, malty roasty, light dried fruits, orange, spices. medium body, quite low carbonation, very slick mouthfeel. tastes roasty malt, ash, licorice, light herbal, spices, light watery, quite dry / roasty bitter finish. bottle quite close to BB-date which is noticeable, tastes a bit dusty and little carbonation, but overall still quite good. will try to seek this out fresh.

bottle at home from trade with Cuso, many thanks Imro! dark orange / amber very cloudy color. big off-white head, disappears rather quick. smells fruity, parfume, grapefruity, citric, very light sour touch, light dusty, hay, light milky. medium body, very light carbonation, slick mouthfeel, taste of burned grains, quite herbal, citric, orange, quite astringent, light grassy. dry / quite bitter herbal finish. bit nbalanced towards bitterness, but overall quite decent.

Tap at Salon piva. Very nice beer, the coffee extract is present in just right amount to spice things up but not overpower anything. I like how the flavours work together as well.

Tap at Salon Piva. Hazy brown color with small white head. Roasted mat, coffee in aroma. Taste, dark malt, strong coffee, dark chocolate wood. Tasty.

Tap at Salon piva. Considerable diacetyl presence but that is to be expected in this style. Otherwise solid hoppy bitterness, grassy herbal hops flavour. Some caramel to support the body. Quite good but not my favourite.

Tap at Salon Piva. Amber color with thick off-white head. Sweet malt, candies, citrus hops in aroma. Taste, sweet malt, caramel, Belgian yeast, candy in taste followed by nice portion of citrus hops. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. amber color, cloudy, small tan head. smells milky, herbal, light buttery, light vegetable, smell is very subtle. light to medium body, herbal bitter, spices, light vegetable taste, herbal bitter finish. quite interesting, drinks easy, I sort of like it.
