Catching.up with Day 2 of the Brew Export Advent Calendar. Can. Hazy pineapple gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has chunky stone fruit with a citrus edge and resin. Flavourwise it starts off much sweeter than I was expecting - canned stone fruit sweetness. Followed by a more bitter streak entwining sourness with resinous. Underlying porridge. A boozy tang. Medium bodied. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Yeah... punchy juice.

Appearance is very hazy murky, with a fizzy clingy white head. Aroma is pineapple, tropical fruit, orange and citrus fruit, mango and papaya. Taste is citrus fruit, pineapple and orange juice, lots of sweet tropical fruit, hint of strawberry, full and fruity smooth finish.

16oz can pours pulp, light legs, ring of white head. Nice nose, grassy, green citrus, C hops. Flavors same. Really nicely balanced. A ton of character at less than 7%. Its feels high end. 7 8 8 8 8

Very good as well. Nearly as good as Lost in Saigon. Pours murky yellow with good head. A little caramel sweetness on the finish. Lots of riwaka grapefruit. Tap at Snally.
