The Brasserie Artisanale de La Fabrique has taken up residence in the old family farm, a building dating from the 19th century. It is located along the Bolland stream in the heart of the Pays de Herve bocage.

The name of the beer pays homage to the Pays de Herve region and its bocages. In the background of the logo, a bocage is represented schematically. The owl, emblematic animal of the bocage, is present on the logo.

In the early 2000s, a group of friends who loved special beers created the Confrérie du Bocage. After a few tastings, they decide to make the divine beverage themselves. After a lot of experiments of all kinds, the Bocagère was born. Finally the diminutive BOCA is chosen. The brotherhood, represented by one or more of its members, tastes each brew. If the beer has the right organoleptic characteristics, it is marketed.
