Clear gold pour with a small white head. Smells like a tart mix of citrus and berries. The flavor is fruity and and yeah, kind of sour candy like but with some malt. Moderately tart, if that. The high abv is pretty buried.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a lingering off white head that laces well. This one smells really piney with a touch of something fruity. The flavor has pretty assertive piney bitterness softened by some malty sweetness. Finishes with a lingering piney bitterness with a touch of citrus.

Pours near black with a light tan head. It smells very roasty and a little smoky. The flavor is of dark roast malt and coffee. I think it’s thin. Okay otherwise.

Pours a hazy medium color with a small white head. Smells of pecans, maple, and caramel malt. It tastes of caramel malt, nuts, and a little maple and vanilla.

Pours near black with a small light tan head. The aroma is of roasted chocolate malt. This tastes kind of sour, which is not good. There’s sweet, malty chocolate but I don’t think there should be any sourness and it could use more body. Drinkable but it’s mediocre at best.

Pours dark brown with a small lingering head. Smells of roast malt and coffee. The flavor is of dark roast malt, coffee, and a bit of chocolate. Medium bodied. Pretty good though it could use more body.

Smells of apricot and lemons. The flavor has a pleasant tartness and the apricot really comes out as it warms. Nice, full flavor and well balanced malt. This is good.

Notes from a few months ago. Pours dark brown with a lingering light tan head. It has a toasted caramel aroma. The flavor is, oddly, kind of sour with the body a bit on the thin side. It’s sweet and malty with chocolate and isn’t bad, but at the same time it’s hard to believe this was the intent.
