0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before May 2027. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty and minimally fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut and hints of blueberry. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite roasty and minimally fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, burnt bread crust and traces of blueberry, followed by a short, quite roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent stout, nice for the tick.

Bottle. My first beer from Ghana, bought at Marlou in Belgium. Color: Clear orange golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, spicy notes. Taste: Malty, sourish hints, moderate sweet and light bitterness. Floral / spicy notes, wet leaves. Subtle fruity notes of pear and hints of lemon, mostly at the finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice try.
