Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, nutty brown with a lacing, yellowish head. Fruity nose, bubblegumish. Medium body, a little sweet caramel, some subtle Belgian yeast and then not an awful lot more. A slight bitterness. 040122

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a neat and rich, creamy beige head leaving a neat lacework. Malty, caramellish aroma. Some tannins. Almost thinnish body, oaky tannins, thin maltiness and a soft carbonation. Not much of a Doppelbock, but the oak chips takes it through. 111221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep golden with a tiny, rough, white head. Perfumy hop aroma. Rich, sweet, fruity body – close to no carbonation. Some oxidation, no bitterness. Far from unpleasant, but more of a homebrewer product. 111221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, orangey brown with a lacing, beige head. Nose is a little nutty with a herbal hop note. Medium body, initially a little biscuity and caramelly, but some very unpleasant flaws coe rushing in. Chemical, phenollic, moldy, rotten veggies - something went seriously wrong here. And the hops are all gone - leaving just plain bitterness. A batch that should never have been released. 101221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Rather fizzy pour. A slight spiciness to the nose, but honestly very little aroma. Medium body, fizzy mouthfeel, slightly fruity, vague caramel - yet quite dry. Dusty hops leaving a hoppy, bitter finish. No real trace of the kiwi hops. 101221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear brown with a warm tint of red and a solid and lacing beige head with good retention. Very fizzy pour. Roasty nose, some vanilla. Rather thin body, again very fizzy feel an a light tartness lingering underneath. Roast and licorice. But lacking in body, and way too fizzy. 210521

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a small, white head. Unpleasant, greasy, smelly feet aroma - old hops? Medium body, some Belgian yeast notes but spoiled by an overpowering lactic tarness. Clearly infected.
