Huge, towering dark-greige head over virtually black beer. Caramel & hops’ nose, mint. Sweet, vanilla, Bourbon, sharp alcoholic peak, as from gin. Roasted chocolate in the background. Very well-bodied, alcoholwarming. Likeable if nothing too complex.

Thank you JefVerstraete! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). Batch #001. Bottle #78. Black, little tanned head. Nose is simple but lovely molasses, sweet sugar, candy, mocha. Taste is sweet basic warming herbal cough syrup, candy, sgar, boozy, bourbon, chocolate, molasses. Body is low carbonation, molasses, sugar. Nice beer, a bit too simple and basic but very pleasant to drink all the same.

Draft at brewery. Aroma seems subdued at first, but offers a wonderful bouquet of hops and pine. Silky smooth mouth feel. Hops bite the tongue before melting into your mouth. Extremely smooth for an IIPA. Late warmth creeps in too. Nice.

Draft at brewery. Normal stout appearance, small head, decent lacing. Aroma and taste lean more on chocolate than roast grains. Dry to the bone. Mixed review. I like some of it, but not all of it.

Draft at brewery. Yeasty, most prominent aroma and flavor. Slick feel, some savory notes, some sweet. Feels nice, but kind of a mess
