Description
Founded in 1900, Cervezas Ambar is an independent Spanish brewery that maintains the spirit of a constantly evolving family enterprise. With 18 beer varieties, it has more specialities than any other brand. It continues to produce beer at the same brewery where it began operations in the early part of the last century, located in the historic San José neighbourhood. There they maintain the craft processes of the 20th century, with their own malting facility and the only open vat fermentation room still in use anywhere in Spain.

Tap at rando place in lacono. A clear pale gold coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is semi sweet green apple, stale grains, macro lager. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, green apple, some alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Run of the mill macro lager, quite sweet.

Straight from the bottle. Aroma: malt and hop. Taste: light to medium sweet, light bitter. Stale malt, bread, spicy hop. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: just a drinkable lager. Not fresh anymore.

Can 330ml (Carrefour Badajoz). Amber colour and small off-white head. Aroma has sweet caramalt and is a bit papery. Medium-bodied. Sweet and harsh flavour. Industrial low on malts low on hops.

Klar gulbrun farge med hvitt skum. Noe malt lukt. Veldig mild i smak lettdrikkelig lager.
