Description
Founded in 1900, Cervezas Ambar is an independent Spanish brewery that maintains the spirit of a constantly evolving family enterprise. With 18 beer varieties, it has more specialities than any other brand. It continues to produce beer at the same brewery where it began operations in the early part of the last century, located in the historic San José neighbourhood. There they maintain the craft processes of the 20th century, with their own malting facility and the only open vat fermentation room still in use anywhere in Spain.

Mega kwiatowa, czarny bez, czerwone owoce, lekko ziemiste.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear but very odd shade of amber with an off-white head. Even odder perfumy flower aroma with a hint of wort underneath. Light body, again these perfumy notes dominating but fortunately not too sticky, mashy. No real bitterness. 090324

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Spicy, earthy hops - British? Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. Sweet and malty with a biscuity touch and a very solid, finishing bitterness. Clearly a British style IPA, but I kinda enjoy it. 080324

Bottle. Almost clear golden. Sweet malts, a lot of sweet peach candy, Fruitella, soap, pils malts, grassy hops. Like a pils with a lot of candy added. Weird.

Bottle at Bombon vegan gluten free. Clear dark golden. Sweet malts, honey, canned peach, soft hop extract, toffee. Medium sweet, less bitter. Not great, but not horrible either.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Slight toffee aroma. Light body, odd-fruity, chewing vitamin flavor. Like stale old beer on a pub floor - absolutely disgusting. No bitterness. 160224

Bottle 33 cl. Comes as 'Ambar Triple Zero Sin Gluten'. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Odd perfumy nose. Light body, still perfumy although some wort accents can be detected underneath. Absolutely no bitterness. Those perfumy accents are weird, but I kinda like them. Good looking beer too. 150224
