The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts modest hoppy-dry. Becomes more and more metallically, a bit hard. Finish is flat and boring. I exspected more...

Canned. Clear golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, maizeish and also has some mild metallic notes. Flavour is very much the same. Not very pleasant.

Poured from a can. Decent appearance, looks almost like brand-name beer. Weird aroma. Decent taste, better cold of course, which is par for the course with low-end beers. Not a bad lager for the price.

Fizzy head like pop, smells sorta like Mountain Dew. Looks kind of like Mountain Dew too. Tastes like a cross between Mountain Dew and really, really weak beer. I guess the only upside is that there is no taste of alcohol whatsoever. Yuck.

Can labelled 1133 Bière d’Abbaye. Foamy head dies down quickly but the beer has a nice golden colour. Some slight aromas of sweetness and yeast. Mouthfeel and taste are all average for this kind of beer, which isn’t bad for the style. A kind of watered down version of all the more famous Belgians.
