Poured from a can. Decent appearance, looks almost like brand-name beer. Weird aroma. Decent taste, better cold of course, which is par for the course with low-end beers. Not a bad lager for the price.

Fizzy head like pop, smells sorta like Mountain Dew. Looks kind of like Mountain Dew too. Tastes like a cross between Mountain Dew and really, really weak beer. I guess the only upside is that there is no taste of alcohol whatsoever. Yuck.

Can labelled 1133 Bière d’Abbaye. Foamy head dies down quickly but the beer has a nice golden colour. Some slight aromas of sweetness and yeast. Mouthfeel and taste are all average for this kind of beer, which isn’t bad for the style. A kind of watered down version of all the more famous Belgians.

Nice fluffy head, but the colour is way too piss-yellow for a biere de garde. Some sweet aromas, something like naughahyde seats too. Slight tastes of citrus, hops, but quite watery. Some hints of complexity that really never pan out.

can 50 cl. Courtesy of Storm. Pours a pale yellow with a dense white head leaving laces. Sweetish malt aroma, a little fruit and brewing cereal. The body is a little watery with both fruit and brewing cereal prersent. Lightly bitter finish. Surprisingly fruity for a Pale Lager. 140509 and 070610

Bottled. A dark golden cider with a fast disappearing off-white head. The aroma is acidic and sweet with notes of apples. The flavor is apply with light notes of phenol, leading to an extremely dry and tart finish.

Can, thx to Papsoe. It pours a clear, slightly pale golden body under a small, whit head. The aroma is quite weak, with some grains and an artificial fruityness. Weak flavor too, sweet and fruity with some green apples and a little bitterness. Short finish and a dry, medium bodied mouthfeel. A really boring one, but with some quenching qualities. (090514)
