Bottle 330ml. [ As Maku Savu Porter ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, smoked, sweet smoke, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150227]

Tap at Black Door. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Grainy, lightly fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Pale malty, peppery spicey hoppyness. Slightly unclean vibe. Light lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit dissapointment from Maku.

33cl bottle. Poured Amber, thick white head. Aroma has orange, some light caramel and herbs. Flavor is similar, quite herbal, still fruity though. Quite thin. Ok session beer though.

Hazy, slightly orange, a very weak head. Aroma has mild tropical notes, mangos, also citrusfruits. Taste has piney bitterness with twist of herbs, some fruitness but not so much as in the aroma, some bitterness in the end that is long lasting. Medium bodied, almost without carbonation, quite smooth. Maybe too mild. Easy.

Tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, floral, hops and malts. Nice flavours but weak body.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20150320) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts grass, sweetness, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A too harsh pale ale.

Draught @ Black Door. Aroma is somewhat mild with tropical fruits and fruit candy. Also pineapple and fruit juice. Flavour has pineapple juice, minerals, some fruity hops and distant gooseberry bush tones. Finishes dry with stronger mineral tones. Golden ale with a juicy IPA twist. Could use more fruits to cover the dryness up.

Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery and midly bitter. A weak hoppy pale ale.

Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, grass, malts, herbal hops and citrus. Taste is bitter, crisp and herbal hoppy with some grass and pine. Finish is crisp and dry with some lingering bitterness and hints of herbal hops. Okay,quite crisp pale ale.
