Draught @William K, kurvi. Pours cloudy amber with a thick white head. Tropical fruits in aroma, pine and marmalade. Flavor has sweetness, gooseberries, citrus. Bitter hoppy finish. Creamy. Slightly heavy at first, but yeah, it is very drinkable. Flawless, slightly too sweet for me perhaps.

(Keg at William K. Kurvi, 20150127) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness, creamy toffee, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, yeast, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet, hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew with Belgian yeast characteristics remaining in the back.

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits, caramel, toffee and hints of berries. Taste is smooth, slightly yeasty and grassy with some herbal hops, hints of pine, citrus, caramel and malts. Finish is hoppy, slightly yeasty and malty with notes of herbal hoppiness. Pretty good despite the Belgian yeast trying to steal the show.

Aroma has resiny notes, grapefruit and mellow strawberry notes. Flavour is sweetish with grapefruit, tropical fruits, caramel and hints of minerals. Also fruit juice. Finishes with lingering herbal bitterness. Refreshing & juicy. Could not locate the spices or Belgian yeast – but perhaps it is not a bad thing. Maku seems to know how to brew IPA.

Tap @ Brewdog Helsinki. Poured dark brown, thin, lasting light brown head. This one got smoke, licorice and roastedness in aroma. Flavor pretty the same, nice balance, could have slightly better body perhaps. Nice smokyness. Good one.

Aroma is nice with smoke, ash, tobacco and licorice. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice, herbs, ash and mellow smoky tones. Finishes with mellow lingering herbal tones Smooth and pleasant, feels a bit watery on some sips though.

330ml bottle from saucy pears worcester. Slightly hazy amber colour with tan head. Aroma is light tropical fruit. Flavour has grapefruit and slightly sweet. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle from rosenbergh, many thanks Jan. Amber color with small off-white head. Citrus fruity and floral hops in aroma. Nice citrus hoppy bitterness with grapefuit, grapefruit zest, resin. Light malty backbone. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Enjoyable beer.

Bottle from my Secret Santa 2014, many thanks! Trübes goldenes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, hopfig fruchtig, Citrus, Mandarinen. Geschmack grasig fruchtig, bitter, Citrusfrüchte, leicht trocken, gut!
