Bottle (purchased at Landbierdealer, Hof): Amber coloured, small but firm creamy head; sweet (dark-)malty nose, a bit caramelly too...and some hoppy traces; light to medium bodied, moderate sweetish-bitter flavour; finishes as it starts: caramelly and moderate sweetish-malty finish - some light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad at all - a bit monotonous..........

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear amber with an off-white head leaving a discreet lacework. Soft aroma of caramel. Medium body with a solid, lightly roasted malt base and then a fairly hoppy finish. The smokiness is only a discreet whiff. More like a Landbier really. 251206

Moderately sweet yeasty and wheat-malty taste with light citrus notes, light to medium body, well-carbonated mouthfeel; minimal acidic and slightly bitter, clovy finish. Okay, but not an outstanding Weizen.
