Sweet malty and hoppy aroma with a hint of smoke. Lovely amber coloring, low carbonation, lowish head with clinging lace. Full powerfull, fruity malty body, with clear smoked notes. Great solid lager.

Bottled. Dark yellow, cloudy, creamy small head. Classic banana aroma. Sweet and reasonably firm. Very traditional.

Cloudy beige; smokey, with good pale malt character. The smoke is so smooth, the pale malts providing a great foundation; dry finish. This was the second smokey pale lager I had at the GBBF and I am impressed with the style.

Slightly golden accent to the dark brown colour. The aroma is mellow, with brown sugars, light fruitiness (probably from hops) and a hint of dark bready notes. The palate is light, with dark malt notes including dark fruits. It’s a bit thin, which hurts it mostly in the finish, but otherwise a decent brew.
