How: Bottle.
Where: Had on a train during the Bamberg Jolly 2014.
Appearance: Amber colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, fruit.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Sweet malt, fruit, caramel. A lack of smokiness. Drinkable, but is it really a smoked?

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts strong, spicy, but also quite grasy-moldy. More and more moldy, mild sourish, unbalanced. Not good.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts yeasty-malty, fruity notes of apricot. More and more dry-yeasty, finish a bit boring-dry. Nothing special.

Im Antrunk sehr röstmalzig-herb. Im Abgang bleibt eine herb-malzige Note zurück. Aber irgendwie ist der ganze Geschmack doch etwas unrund...kann das aber schlecht beschreiben..... Im Mittelteil auch noch etwas säuerlich.....

Bottle looks very simple, almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, almost no head. Starts quite malty, sweet, notes of hay and wheat. More and more grasy-malty, quite moldy. Not good.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts mild but not washy. Dominated by malty notes, fine spicy, not much hoppy notes. Interesting hints of caramel. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Nice!

50cl. herb-neutraler Antrunk. Der Hauptteil ist vollmundig, leicht süßlich, nett. Der Nachgeschmack ist erstaunlich herb für ein Helles, nett, süffig. --> nettes Helles. 10/12/9/10

Im Antrunk hopfig-frisch breitet sich das Röstmalzaroma langsam im Mund aus. Im Abgang wieder leicht hopfenbetont, dabei aber nur leicht herb. Der "Hauch von Rauch" ist dann im Nachgeschmack nach ein paar Sekunden deutlich auszumachen!
--> Sehr schönes Bier, das aber doch etwas mehr Körper gut vertragen könnte.

Draft @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak smoky aroma. Fruity malty grainy smoky flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy weak smoky finish.
