Can at work thanks to Colleague for bringing it over from Iceland. Aroma is sweet berry, caramel, slight toast, raisin. A litttle but of earth on the nose. Reddy amber in colour with a frothy creamy foam. Flavour is sweet plum, raisin, grainy, wheat, little toasted malts, little tang in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, moderate to low carbonation, little grainy on the tongue. Ok.

Bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is very earthy, with toasted malt upfront. Flavour is similar, with notes of toasted malt, earthy notes, and oats. Solid stuff, with an oaty palate. Nothing special, but well-made.

33cl bottle from Vínbúðin Austurstræti, Reykjavik. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with sour green apples, notes of not completely ripe bananas and some lightly spicy notes. Moderate sweet, quite fruity with some sour notes. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite refreshing, but some slightly unpleasant elements present,

Bottle. Some lacings left as the off-white head sinks over a lightly hazy, golden body. The aroma is quite piney, with some resiny notes and apricot. Oranges. The flavor has a decent bitterness, malty sweetness in the back and quite a lot of citrusy, piney hops. Full to medium body, with a soft carbonation level. Lasting fruity finish. Sure a nice one, although a bit sweet and soft. 141018

Draught at Micro Bar, Reykjavik
The color is dark, almost black. Stale water and caramel aroma. Some caramel flavor, stale feeling, some darker malts.
Not well brewed, not a good project anyway.
