Jet black colour, tan head. Aroma of coffee, light sour stout aroma, roasted malts and chocolate. Light bitter flavour, light sweet malts, light sour touch. Somewhat light bodied. Sweet finish, roasted malts, coffee, light bitterness. Nice!

330ml bottle kindly shared by Elisabeth & Stefan at our back to school session. Tight, beige head resting on top of a jet black body. Dotted spots at the glassware. Promising aroma of roasted, dark chocolate malts. Cocoa and bitter anise in the flavour character. Bitterness from dark fruits to the ending. Tasty (Tromsø, 20.08.2012).

330ml bottle thanks to Elisabeth and Stefan for sharing. Firm white tophead blanketing the glassware. Cloudy, golden body. Plain hop fruity aroma with mid-sweet grapefruit coming through. Passion fruits and a gentle touch of pine needles in flavour. Mid-dry, bitter finale. Refreshing and moreish (Tromsø, 20.08.2012).

On draft at Micro Bar in Reykjavik. Brand new beer. Nice effort, but not a great example Not very complex. More malt than hops in the taste but with a mild hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

On tap at Micro Bar in Reykjavik. Dark pour with a froth head. Mild aroma of toasted malt. Hint of code in the taste. Overall a pleasant stout, if a bit on the watery side.

Tap. Shared with Stefan @Micro Bar, Reykjavik. Hazy golden body with creamy layer on top. Beautiful lacing. Aroma: horse blanket, sour milk (kefir) and cloudberries. Tastes of grain, moss and hint of cloudberries and kefir in the finish. This reminds me of childhood in North-Norway, almost feeling a bit melancholic and definitely think this is an IPA with an Icelandic twist. Iceland and North-Norway have much in common!:-) 14.Jul.2012

Tap @ Micro Bar. Black appearance with a big foamy, light brown head. Milky, light coffee, light anise, milk chocolate, a touch charred aroma. Charred, strong anise, black licorice, milk chocolate, burnt flavor that’s pretty light bodied.

Bottle @ Micro Bar. Chear, dark red orange appearance with a tan head, really no head retention. Toasty, light toffee, caramel, a bit herbal aroma. Light caramel, slight cake mix, lightly bready, toffee, herbal, a little spicy flavor. Pretty tasty.

Bottle @ Micro Bar. Unfiltered. Cloudy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Toasty, woody, herbal, a touch fruity, somewhat spicy aroma. Light orange citrusy, herbal/leaf, woody, slightly chewy, a little tangy, light pine flavor. Pretty interesting beer, especially unfiltered, but I have mixed thoughts about it.

Tap @ Micro Bar. Clear, dark golden appearance with a fading white head and little lacing. Mild DMS, cooked veggie, creamy grainy aroma. Celery, cooked corn, dms, pale malty flavor. They mentioned that this had had some issues and unfortunately, I still taste an infection.
