Description
First created on the historic site of the Brasserie des Vosges in Dommartin-lès-Remiremont (former Benedictine monastery), Brasserie La Madelon moved in 2014 into more spacious premises in Saint-Étienne-lès-Remiremont suitable for an expansion of the range of beers.

Today, the brewery produces all kinds of beers, most of them labeled Vosges Terroir.

Annual beer production is around 2,200 hectoliters. It also produces artisanal lemonade and cola with water from the Vosges mountains.

Bottle @ FoneFan, 4%. Clear pale yellow with tiny white head. Aroma is malt and a little wheat. Flavour is malt, wheat, hop, little sweet, yeast, little bitter and quite watery.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, yeasty and light spicy. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. Watery. 191012

Bottled, 330ml from Cora in Sarreguemines. Clouded yellow with slight head. Sweet and perfumed plum notes right from the start, like the mirabelle jam that is popular around northern France. Some pear drop, syrupy notes, little from the wheat beer gets through. Fizzy and had the mouthfeel and appearance of a geuze. Glad to get it finished, different, but not to my taste.

The beer is sweet, but it tastes not as chemical. A drinkable but not a good beer.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dusty, light dark dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt, roasted, sweet ?? Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes metal, bread, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish to breadish malty. Fruity, toasted malty and mild bitter to citric flavoured. Bitter and dry finish.

clear amber, smooth white head. aroma is mild malty, slighlty flowery. flavor is caramelly, flowery, sweet malty, sweet caramelly,spicy bitter.
