Bottle 650ml @ fonefan
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, alcohol and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation soft.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a black body under a dense, finger-thick light tan head. The aroma has chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and even more coffee. Some herbal hints. Supposed to be smoked, but I don’t detect that in the aroma. Some in the flavor though, which is also sweet, roasted and chocolatey. Not so much coffee. Full body and a soft carbonation. Coffee, roasted malts and some vanilla in the lasting finish. Alcohol notes all the way. A really nice one, tasteful and moreish. 140301

Draft - Nice candy floss hops and malts. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Orange hops, with a bit of resin and caramel backbone. Decent well balanced IPA.

Draft - Green chilies, lime and some yeast. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Chilli pepper powder, lime, salt and a slight sour finish. The pepper powder ruins this, if it were a more natural tasting chilli it would have been better. That being said, as interesting as it was it was like drinking a marinade.

Draft - Wheat and light fruit jam. Cloudy orange with a thin white head. Raspberry up front with some grains and a very mellow tartness. The finish is Belgian yeast and pleasant. The nose is a let down considering the strong flavours, but sweetness I kept in check.

Draft - Chocolate covered coffee beans. Jet black with a rich brown head. Tons of dark roast coffee with some .... actually not much else but the hop bitterness. A black coffee drinkers dream.

Draft - Toasted malts and toffee. Cloudy brown copper with no head. Toasted malts, toffee and a bread finish. English, very, but pale not so much. I enjoyed this malt forward beer.
