200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Almost black body with a deep ruby shade, covering beige head, fragile lacing. Inviting smell of roasted earth malts, mid-sweet. Fine blended taste of toffee, raisin, and cocoa. Roasted grain malty end, mid-sweet. Medium bodied. Pretty good. (Tromsø 25.03.2023).

Bottle, A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains. Fruity, lightly spiced aroma with notes of banana, flowers and pale malts. It's medium bodied and quite dry, still with a bit more sweetish flavors than I'd prefer. Fruity flavor with peach, plum, pear, banana and a faint tropical touch. Grass, peppery hints and some pale malts. Medium length finish with a cloying touch. A decent saison, although nothing special going on. 230318
