Description
Eavesdrop Brewery has humble beginnings and a rich history, what used to be a racing pigeon loft now supports our love of making beer. Nestled in the historic Yorkshire neighborhood in Manassas, Eavesdrop is considered a destination brewery. Tucked behind Route 28, our brewery offers a spacious outdoors setting equipped with beautiful landscaping in the warmer season, firepits and cozy seating outdoors, and within our taproom in the Autumn and Winter. We consider ourselves to be a diverse and inclusive brewery dedicated to innovation and creativity in the craft beer industry.

Whether you’re flying solo or in the company of others, we invite you to come by, have a great beer, and enjoy the ambiance that our family-friendly brewery has to offer.

What is a Racing Pigeon?

The Racing Homer is a special breed of pigeon that competes in traveling carefully measured distances in an amount of time before returning home. Pigeon Racing goes back thousands of years and because of this special heritage of our property, we honor the Racing Pigeon in our logo and throughout our brewery.

Can purchased from at Eavesdrop, consumed at home. Poured a orange color with a medium sized, foamy white head. Aroma was big citrus juice, not sharp, very smooth with notes of grapefruit, and pineapple. Pleasant juicy notes, light hop tang, with a mimosa finish.

Draft pour at Eavesdrop. Poured a pitch black, silky color with a small, brown head. Aroma was big roasted malts, coconut, cookie. Flavor was roasted, malts. Huge coconut, caramel, chocolate. Tastes like a candy bar melted into my glass. But not overly sweet, which was a nice touch. Woody barrel notes.

Definitely a big horchata vibe here. Smell is on point for that drink. Some cinnamon and a little vanilla. Light sweet finish. Not sure how this is a stout, but whatever. Tap at brewery.
