Pours hazy orange with a thin, delicate head. The aroma is gently fruity and hop-accented, soft and inviting. On the palate, the beer shows an engaging progression: a lightly hop-forward first sip gives way to grainy notes before transitioning into a richer malty core. Subtle hints of caramel and nutty tones emerge, complemented by delicate berry-like esters from the yeast. Bitterness remains low throughout, allowing the layered malt and fermentation character to shine. The mouthfeel is creamy, and slightly foamy.

The best German Tripel I've had. From a Trappist monastery not far from the Belgian border, this certainly tastes like how a Tripel should. Esters, yeast, bit of banana, bright and rich. Strong but not heavy. Lots of floaters though, and it's best by '26.
