Brouwerij D'n Hopper is een kleine brouwerij uit Kaatsheuvel. Ondanks dat D'n Hopper geen commerciële brouwerij is, wordt veel aandacht besteed aan het bier maar ook aan alles daarom heen.

Tap at Maastricht Bierfestival. A nice dark ale with some oak-barreltaste what is not bad.

Draught. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy, some floral and mild herbal and yeasty notes to it. Flavour is herbal, citrus, some mild figs as well as mild yeasty and grassy notes. Nice spicy/herbal and citrusy finish.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some honey, mild spices as well as some yeast. Flavour is sweet malts, honey and some mild spiciness as well.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bananas, some yeast, mild spices, nuts as well as some burnt sugar. Flavour is yeast, some spices, mild bready malts as well as some fruits and mild sugary notes.

Bottled. Rubyish black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some liquorice, mild alcohol as well as coffee and chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, liquorice, spices, mild roasted notes as well as some slight nutty and toffeeish notes. More complex in aroma than flavour though.

Draught. Orange colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is zest, some sweet malts, mild yeast and spices. Flavour is spicy, herbal, some slight zesty and fruity notes along with mild yeasty notes.

Draught. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized white head, which disappears quite fast. Aroma is mild honey, some floral and bready notes along with some hebrs. Flavour is fruity, some honey, mild bitter grassy and floral notes as well as some slight sweet malty tones.

Bottle. Orange color, cloudy. Nutty aroma with tangerine. Flowery perfumed flavor with butter and cherry sweets. Nutty aftertaste with yeasty notes. Not very good.

Bottle. Almost balck. Malt, roast, coffee and licorice in the aroma. Thinnish. Carbonation is soft. malty sweet, roasty flavor with chichory and licorice. The aroma promises more than the flavor delivers.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours with murky amber with a thin white a head. Aromas of caramel, light hoppiness. Taste is sweet. Dry finish. OK.
