Bottle thanks to Nate at the Imperial Geezer tasting, Borough Market. Toffee and vanilla on aroma. yes a bit too much barrel presence for good balance on this. Some toffee. Bit unsophisticated, but I liked some of the elements of the barrel ageing

RBESG 2010, Grand Tasting, bottle
Cloudy amber color. Sweetish caramel aroma with traces of yeast. Sweet flavor, some malt, light herbal and spicy touch, very low bitterness, some yeast and bubblegum. What’s the point here?

RBESG 2010, bottle at Brasserie 4:20
Batch 1, 2008
Hazy amber color; frothy head. Mild aroma of malt and alcohol, light yellow fruits. Medium body; sweetish flavor, not really malt nor caramel, but rather some light fruits and vegetables, with quite evident alcohol perception; it seems that they are not ready to brew at this high gravity, the beer has no flaws, but it misses to have the characteristics of a big beer. It finishes small, not strong, without bitterness almost.
