Well that just continues to trend that everything they make is delicious.
Holy crap. 10/10. 2/2. Whatever you want to call it. It’s not anything fancy, but it’s just so well done. Super smooth, super delicious. The smell alone is worth it. Silky. Like I could wear it like a blanket. Also, pretzels.
Okay. That’s it. That’s my favorite beer I’ve ever had. This is Sam Adams cherry wheat on steroids. This is an adult Shirley temple. Please don’t ever leave me. Im getting baby philosophers tattooed on my arm in an arrow heart. This beer knows my soul.
Well fuck me. That’s legitimately… that might be the best beer I’ve had for awhile. Is it completely new, or special or anything flashy, no, but they clearly have the right recipe for a damn fine NE.
Also, new scariest flight carrier:
Like the other two, I’m not including baby philosophers, that’s the nectar of the gods, they are both so clinically good. Precise recipes. Strong flavors that are well made. Very good standard bearers for their styles.

Can pour. It's a hazy light brown-gold with nice sparkle, finger-width white foam head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is as description--bright citrus and grapefruit. Taste mirrors aroma with sweet citrus and grapefruit and very mild cracker background. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, not novel but executed well minus a bit too carbonated. Good first exposure to this brewer!
