Sample at the 2023 Wisconsin IPA Fest at Third Space, 8/5/23. VIP area. Hazy orange, thin white head, average retention. Aroma of cucumber, pale malt, lemon, gin, floral. Taste is cucumber, floral, caramel, white sugar, bready malt. Almost spicy. Interesting.

Tap at Amorphic. Pretty nice example of MI Chinook, though I get some faint buttery earthiness in there too. Drinks with a modern sweet feel, not quite West Coast to me. Juicy and fresh,.nice beer.

Tap at Amorphic. Thick orange body. Definitely getting some jolly rancher, candy notes. Strata also sort of takes over as it will making it an odd choice to showcase another varietal. Really nice juicy hop tone, unique.

Tap at Amorphic. Cantaloupe is distant to not really there. Botanical brightness akin to an amplified gin and tonic. OK for what it is, I forgot it was a Lutra...something I despise..but it is OK here. Not enough cantaloupe tone for sure.

Tap at Amorphic. Juicy, creamy, solid for the style. Nectaron is nice, Citra keeps it tasting like every other hazy..an unfortunate addition here. Great mouth feel, creamy and thick. Good stuff.

Tap at Amorphic. Rather delicious vanilla Porter. Smooth and sweet. Not unlike City Lights, but a little more luscious. Sweet, but retains its Porter tone well. Good.

Tap at Amorphic. This version has Lemondrop hops, in my top 5 for least favorite hop. I suppose it sort of works here, adding mild plastic lemon undertones....is that desirable? The base is really nice, thick and yeasty. Well made, unique touch but the hop choice isn't a winner for me.
