Keg at the brewery, 9/24/22. Clear amber, large off-white head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, bread, phenols. Taste is toffee, raisin, banana bread. Well balanced. Nice.

Keg at the brewery, 9/24/22. Clear very dark brown, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, coffee syrup, coffee grounds, oats. Taste is coffee, roast, oats. Mild bitterness, well balanced. Nice beer.

Bartender said this is what Pabst would make if they knew how to make beer. He was right. New brewery! Brewery #2102. USA #1705, Wisconsin #183.

Tap at Ope! Sort of reasonable milk stout base. Coffee is giving a green vegetal tone because they kind of suck at brewing around these parts. Is there hot pepper in there? What a sloppy ass beer. I will never return.

Slagged it hard in my initial rating from 2022. Revisiting in 2024. Classical IIPA for the most part, rich, heavy. Honey adds depth, the grapefruit is sort of unfortunate and lingers in the finish. Drinkable, like a more heavy handed Grapefruit Sculpin.

Tap at Ope!. Watery, peppery, sort of tastes like a halfway done Saison. The watery mouthfeel sort of works, but it still screams amateur-hour. Not drainpour, but not commanding bar price either.

Zesty yeast aroma. Smooth and sweet flavor. Not so dialed in, but an enjoyable enough beer. Has some high temp stressed yeast notes, like they pitched the saison yeast into it.
