Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Off-white head with good retention slowly recedes to coat surface. Roasted nuts and cardboard aromas. Thin and soft with sweet roasted caramel and nuts with slight cardboard in the lasting finish. Perhaps this one has a little too much age on it...but bought it fresh.

Bottle 500ml.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, light vegetable, cabbage water notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100613]

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is vegetables, some herbs and quite earthy. Flavour is bready malt, some saltwater, mild gras and hay.

Pours hazy gold into a stein. Off-white head quickly recedes leaving no lacing. Sour caramel aromas. Flat with sweet yeast upfront turning to tropical fruit cocktail before the lasting dusty bitter finish.

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Hazy golden orange colour with mediumsized head. Aroma is banana, fruits, wheat, forest and some mild notes of yeast. Flavour is wheat, wood, earth, some yeast and mild notes of grass. A quite balanced hefe-weizen. I like.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Very deep ambery brown colour, with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some chocolate cookies, mild raisins and some wood. Flavour is quite much burnt sugar along with sweet malts, some bready malts, raisins and wood. I still also find some slight chocolate in this... Quite easy to drink and pleasant dunkler bock though.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de, as Bürgerbräu Naila Wohn’s Pilsner). Yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is herbs, hay, grass, some sweet malts as well as mild rubber. Flavour is herbs, some grass, mild bready malts as well as a quite big bitterness.
