Bottle. Clear straw colored, skal white head. Wort, some fruityness and grass in the aroma. Medium to thin body, decent carbonation. Semi-dry. Wort, fruityness and a good bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Too much wort. 250209

RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. 2000 vintage, ABV for this vintage was 8.1%. Hazy brown colour, low head. Surprisingly pale for a doppelbock. Sweetish bakery aroma, some alcohol. Flavour is cloying malty sweet and one-dimensional. Disappointing. Drank it too warm though.

RBESG 2006, bottle. Golden colour, moderate head. Sweetish aroma, notes of flowers, grass and honey. Flavour is rounded and mellow, moderately malty and slightly sweet, low bitterness.

RBESG 2006, can. Pale golden colour. Grassy and flowery sweet aroma. Bland flavour, sweetish and boring (drank it a bit too warm, though), some moderate hops.

Bottled 500ml. -Unclear golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, floral and light caramel nose. Strong carbonation. Acidic fruity, yeasty and caramel with floral notes. Dry finish. Seems not so fresh.
