Red brown colour with small off-white head. Malty aroma with raisins and caramel and hints of alcohol. Sweet fruity aroma with a warning alcohol feeling. Also raisin and caramel in the aroma, smooth mouthfeel. This bottle is 1.5 years after best before date but it still have alcohol notes. But much smoother.

(Bottle 33 cl) Apparently the name refers to the moon, as this beer is only brewed once a year during the first full moon. Close to copper-coloured, quite limited head. Fat body, very malty with a pronounced hoppiness. Very close to an original German doppelbock. Delicious. 020603

Bottle. Aroma has a hint of malt, brown sugar and metal. Brown colour, unstable head. Flavour is at first sweet and malty, turning a bit watery and then malty again. The finish is actually quite nice. Carbonation is a bit high. 4 3 6 3 14
Bottle, 5.2%. Weak roasted aroma, hint of fart. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Good roasted flavour. Some mild cream. Slightly sweet. 7 3 7 3 14

Thanks to Omhper for sending this from Stockholm! Minimal head comes from this clear deeply rubied brown beer. Rich malt with brandy soaked fruit in the aroma. Light on the tongue, this starts with some sweetness, not too overpowering, and slowly fades into a long finish with most of what it started with. A bit more maltiness, body and a better job of hiding it’s alcohol would improve this, but quite drinkable just the same.
