Tap source. Clear pale yellow. Noce clean Beery nose. Immediate hay on the tongue, then old country pils in the middle. Good crisp co2 effects inside the mouth. A little astringent on the finish. Not bad.

Sample at Platform during the "Ohio is for *beer* Lovers" event on 10/14/2017. Dark brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Sparse small patches of lace. Aroma of brandy, dark fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of candied fruit, brandy barrel, caramel malt and mild earthy hops. The finish is fruity with a brandy and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a cup. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and small-bubble lacing. Taste is herbal hops, and bitter finish.

Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/20/2017. Clear orange color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lacing. Tropical fruit, hops and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

On draught at The Rail in Canton. Brown-black pour with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, vanilla and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, sweet vanilla and milk chocolate. The finish is chocolatey with a vanilla aftertaste. Decent overall.
