bottle from Colmar. Cloudy orange yellow, large white head all over the place (gushing). Malty base, shy fruity background with a dry touch, perhaps from the chestnuts? Good one.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Fruity, spicy aroma - quite some coriander up there. Medium body, sweet fruit and caramel - again heavy, perfumy spices. Some hops in the finish. 011211

Bottle. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma has a light sourish touch, but it’s mostly sweet maltyness, cherries and almond. The flavor has a little sourness, not unpleasant in any way, with malty sweetness and some cherries. Medium body, quite effervescent. Sugary sweet finish with some cherries. Not my kind of cherry beer, but far from awful. 111126
