Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Sweet aroma of coriander and yeast. Light body, very yeasty with a massive carbonation. Sweet fruit, coriander and heavy yeast. Ends fairly dry. Not the worst of the style. 180911

bottle from a little souvenir shop in Colmar, rue des Marchands. Cloidy golden-orange yellow, mid-sized fluffy head. Very fruity aroma, almost like lemonade, extremely perfumy. Medium-bodied, malty background with grassy-resiny hops. Mirabelle flavours are omnipresent and go with the hops very well. This beer has the right balance between fruitiness, hoppiness and tartness - well done. Very perfumy retronasal.

bottle from Colmar. Cloudy golden colour, small head. Aroma of honey. Rather light-bodied, the combination of honey wit the resiny-grassy hops is unusual at first, but works out well after a few sips. Not as sweet as manyhoney beers, the house character is captured well.

Bottle from L’Epicerie, Paris
Hazy amber color; generous head. The aroma is perfumy, with cherries and cinnamon. Nasty perfumy flavor, a bit sweet, some cherries. Bad.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large and creamy white head. Wheaty-fruity nose. Light-bodied, wheaty and yeasty, pleasantly fruity (lemon), slightly spicy. Pleasant carbonation. A pleasantly refreshing beer on a hot summers day.

Bottle. Sweet-sour lemon malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with giant head and strong effervescence - quite a bit of flocculation. Lightly sweet lemon and light malt flavor. Watery palate. Okay but pretty light.

A hazed brown amber ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, doughy malt with fruity esters, bananas, cloves, coriander, not bad. In mouth, the first gulp was of autolysed yeast, but after, a rather weizen like fruity malt, with said bananas, cloves, oily mouth feel, medium bodied, reminded me of early Cheval Blanc in bottles. Bought at Grande Épicerie of Au Bon Marché, Paris, May 2011.
