Bottle, 6%. Caramelly malt aroma. Cloudy muddy amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly smokey and quite bitter. Has a herbal hoppiness. Well, it IS quite bitter, and not so pleasant, but it is clean enough. Apart from the smoke, which is probably unintended, but tastes all right.

05/08 A 0.33 l bottle from Csak a jo sör, Budapest. It poured lightly hazy brown body with smaller head. Fine aroma, decent wood, caramel, some fruits and yeast. Flavor was lightly sweet, even more bitter, with decent peat and other smoked notes. Medium bodied with fine, a bit nutty and shy caramel finish. Alcohol wasn’t felt at all, only now I realize it’s so high! Expected less since was quite disappointed by their other beers I had in Slovakia last summer, but this is "only a good beer" indeed.

Bottled@PBF VIII. Black colour, not too much head. Aroma is mild wood, leather and some earthy notes. Flavour is quite earthy,, mild yeasty and some leathery and mmild toasted notes. Good balance, but umm.... some things are just not well enough for a 6.5 % beer.

Aroma is sweet with buttery notes and honey – feels like those east European beers. Flavour has butter, honey notes and hints of hay. Floury feeling here.

Aroma has fruity notes, some biscuits and gooseberry bush. Flavour is rather strong on gooseberry bush. Finishes with gooseberry bush. Too much harsh bitterness here.
