Fairly good toast and malt flavours. The brewery's best product. Could use a little more ooomph to it, but is a good introductory dark ale.

Acceptable Scottish ale, but not a standout. This has more to do with the overall weaknesses of the brewery, as none of their products stand out.

Bland, sweetish, caramelly amber - the way people made them in the mid-90's before they realized that ambers didn't necessarily have to suck.
