On tap at the brewpub. Hmmm...what to say about this one. Dark orange/almost amber coloured, small off-white head, caramel nose with whiff of chilli mixed with some vinegar. The taste is better than nose but still not so representative. Caramel and quite earthy (Maja said rotten carrot) taste with subdued notes of metal in the finish.
My opinion: bad batch or quite messy beer.
Maja’s opinion: in any case awful beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small white head, light yeasty and spicy nose with hint of barnyard. Light acidic and quite lactic taste with notes of yeast and fruits and hint of spices. Also some barnyard in the finish. A bit messy but ok brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Slight murky pale amber coloured, small off-white head, sourish nose. Also sourish taste with notes of caramel and random spices and touch of coffee. Just odd brew or bad batch but if this isn’t bad batch something is really wrong here. Very unbalanced.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden coloured, small white head, brewing cereals in the nose. Moderate malty, grainy and hint of brewing cereals. Pleasant bitter hoppy finish. Reminds me of Slovenian home brewed beers. Quite good.

bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Cloudy golden yellow colour, large white head. Dusty-hoppy nose with hints of fruit. Medium-bodied, light-feeling fruity beer with a nice malty background and hints of mango and lemon. Not too complex, an easy-going yeasty and fruity ale with low carbonation.

Draught. Weak sweetish aroma, not too appleish, but a little citric. Clear shiny yellow colour, sparkling. The flavour is mostly citric with some apple peal notes to it. The flavour is more rounded than in cheap cider, but IMO it could use more apple flavour. Medium carbonation.

Draught, 6%. Weak wet rag smell with a faint sweetness. Very muddy light brown colour. Small and creamy, semi-stable white head. The flavour is a little sweet and very slightly sour. Supposedly plum flavour, it reminds me more of some sort of candy. Not a gueuze, but tastes OK.

Draught, 5.6%. Nicely spicely, slightly citric aroma. A sweet spiciness with cloves. Cloudy yellow colour. Small, tight white head. The flavour is citricly refreshing, spicy, with a good cloviness balancing the lemon flavour. Perhaps a little on the sweet side, but very good.

Draught, 5.6%. Fruity and spicy aroma with a hint of dried fruit. Cloudy golden colour, unstable white head. Good mouthfeel. Nice fruity flavour, sweet, dried fruits. Balanced well by a hint of alcohol and a late, slightly rough bitterness.
