Bottle in French St. Martin on holiday. Clear pale yellow golden pour, small white head. Aroma and flavor are sweetish up front, sweetish malty, malt, only softly bitter if any. Oh well, tastes good in the hot sun.

Bottled 250ml (Super U, Grand Baie. Mauritius). Amber colour and small white head. Sweetish, fruity-spicey aroma. Light-bodied. Sweet, sugary, hints of spices. Feels cheap.

Bottle. Almost clear golden. Sweet apple, light funk, quite 'green', dusty, old wet wood, cellar. Just medium sweet, light tart and bitter. Medium bodied, medium dry. Quite interesting stuff, but not great.

75cl bottle. Pours a clear deep gold, lasting white frothy atop. Aroma of sugary apple sweet laces, continuing to taste with an acute sugary sweetness, ostensibly artificial but being French cider it sans doute has a high natural fruit content. Fine carbonation. Seems to be a lot of sweet cidre like this creeping onto the supermarche shelves unfortunately. Not my kind of cidre.

75cl bottle Christmas Day 2024. As before.
18th April 2023: 75cl bottle. Pours a deep gold. Aroma of caramelised apple fruit. Strong caramelised sweet profile, relatively low carbonation, clean oily palate. Really nice.

as Biere Blonde Hauts de France, 7% abv, from Aldi in Strasbourg (Brasserie Gayant). pours a clear golden with a quickly disappearing head. aroma of caramel, candy, belgian yeast. flavour of toffee, syrup, mineral water. medium sweet, slightly watery, alcohol is well hidden
