Friendly fresh beery smell. Big & black and it looks like its large and in charge! Tste is exactly that, large and in charge. Over the top for my poor lager loving taste buds. Big IPA flavor that does not let up. Touch of burnt wood supports the IPA hops. A touch of astringent beer bitterness sneaks up in the middle. Finish is the same, a little medium astringent bite that picks up where the last swig lets off. What else can be said? A terribly on style fresh black IPA! If you like black IPA, ignore my humanistic numbers.

I hate to be the rater of the first excellent IPA from a brand new brewery since I hate IPA hopped beers. But anyway, if you like IPA, ignore my numbers, this is terribly on style and you need to put it on your bucket list. There is not hint of this being a session IPA except perhaps for a little bit of veggie on the finish. Yes, bad numbers from me means its a great IPA! A clear pale brew. Taste is bordering on imperial IPA territory, IPA bitter hops all over the place. Rototiller IPA hops across the surface of your tongue and then all around your mouth, nasty Nellie to a lager lover. Tap source. Clear pale with a clean fresh beery nose. Taste has a bit of astringent bite to it that provides the initial impressions. Could be a little more civilized. Overall, not bad, but that astringent bite keeps sticking its little head up. Reminds me of the gluten free beers you would get at Aurochs.

Tap source. Mostly clear pale with a slight haze. Slight bandaid saison aroma. Yes, a typical saison impact and quite on style. Has a tad of that bandaid thing that carries over to the taste.. Not bad. A little difficult with astringent bite in the middle. Very much like many domestic saisons. Not much of a domestic saison fan, but if you are, ignore my numbers, its bitterly on style with most domestics.
